🌸 Zinnia ‘D&S Focus’ – large flowers in a soft color palette
Zinnia elegans 'D&S Focus' is an F1 mix developed by Dreams & Seeds – with a focus on large flowers, beautiful shapes, and a soft, versatile color palette.
The color range spans powder pink, peach, apricot, champagne, and creamy tones, with beautiful variations that give each plant its own unique expression.
The flowers are large, typically around 8–10 cm and sometimes up to 12 cm. They are carried on long, sturdy stems and are excellent for cutting.
D&S Focus is an F1 mix and not a stabilized variety. Variation in color, form, and fullness is therefore a natural and intentional part of the mix. The images show examples from our own cultivation and the expression we have chosen for Focus.

🌿 Cultivation & care instructions
- Sowing time: Pre-cultivate indoors 4–6 weeks before the last frost. Zinnia can also be direct-sown in raised beds or open ground when the risk of frost is over.
- Sowing depth: 0.5 cm
- Germination: 3–7 days at 22–25°C
- Planting out: When the risk of frost is over. Harden off the plants for a few days before planting out.
- Spacing: 25 cm between plants for good air circulation.
- Location: Sunny and warm, in well-drained soil.
- Care: Pick regularly and remove withered flowers to stimulate continued blooming.
- Tip: Avoid watering from above during damp periods. Keep the soil lightly moist but not wet, and ensure good air circulation around the plants.
